Protect Yourself
What happens if the airline I've booked with goes bust?
There is a good chance you will have lost your money. You can protect yourself however by booking through a travel agent or travel website who are covered by ABTA and thus you'll be refunded and won't have to bear any of costs required to get you home if the airline goes bust halfway through your stay. If you book using a credit card you'll be covered for the original flight costs however you'll have to bear any return costs yourself if the airline goes bust halfway through your stay.
