Australia lacks the myriad budget carriers so prevalent in Europe and the two main internal budget airlines are Virgin Blue and Jetstar. Between them they cover all the main holiday destinations and many more. Anything not covered by Jetstar or Virgin Blue will usually be covered by the national carrier Quantas.
